In the heat of the night El Vino posted 8/4/06 5:35 PM Top notch stuff last week. Steamin' and stormin' set from SMASH. It was a great gig coz not only did we get to see SMASH at a local venue (and lest we forget steeped in SMASH history) but because of the heat it was like going to Weightwatchers. The up side is I lost three stone in about an hour. The down side is I've been hooked up to a saline drip in QEII hospital ever since with severe dehydration. Flowers and grapes (or indeed gropes) gratefully accepted on Ayot ward. Great to see lots of faces about such as King Mick the VIII and Dog. Looking forward to the next one. El Salineo.

This is true, the Venue is the Ludwick Club, which is a long standing youth & community centre. We signed our deal with High Rise here and still rehearse and write here, when time allows. Will be a great night.

More details for you for WGC gig on Friday 28th July at Ludwick Family Centre, Hall Grove. Adm £4 on door. All ages welcome but bring id for access to bar. Doors open 8pm. Support from The Otters, The Blazing Rockets and Redmaxx
