BANDS:

S*M*A*S*H they are back! It has been nearly eight years since they last headlined in central London.

Over a decade ago-Ed, Salv and Rob from Welwyn Garden City hit the UK music scene. Although existing for well over a year and creating a word of mouth loyal London fan base before the NME created the scene New Wave Of The New Wave and S*M*A*S*H were apparently leaders-whether they liked it or not. Which lead to the NME loving them; the then Melody Maker trying to destroy them.

Soon they signed to Virgin/Hut records. Lots of awesome live shows-gigs that are still legendary. "The English MC5," roared the NME.

Recorded one album-'Self Abused'-which should be seen as a great long lost classic debut album. Around 1996 the band (never officially split up) went 'tits up' due mainly to in band personal reasons.

They are back and being brilliant live and having fun again-just like it was if not even better back in the day. New single has been recorded and should in all good record shops soon.

RED STRIPES Are a band that have to be seen live. A must see live event. One of the UKs best kept secrets. Already been praised by such publications as Rolling Stone/ID/NME/Guardian/Mojo/Uncut/Big Issue and so on.

On the verge of signing to a major label. They are happening, baby.

Sounding like the Wailers in 1973-they have never heard THE WHITE STRIPES

"Red Stripes are great!," NME
"Great!" Terry Chimes (THE CLASH)

The major record labels are keen to do business.

Oh nearly forgot DURAN DURAN love them too!!

HAVANA GUNS Probably the best looking band in the world at the moment. Caused a huge wave with the release of their debut single last year. Sounding like Blondie fronting the Velvet Underground before the Mary Chain were born.

"Prime Blondie for the Libs generation," shouted NME
"Excellent stuff, "yelled XFM Radio

Also championed by the most listened to rock radio station in the world that being LA based KROQ.

THE NOVEMBER FIVE Three great guys who create the brilliance of the C86 era. Brought the new Go Betweens album yet? Don't buy a ticket to see this lot live-far better.
Songs that would fit perfectly on any Razorcuts or Television Personalities album.
