Chrissy reports: Saw Stretch for the third time today. they played the Meadows in Hartford CT.... it was a radio festival and they rocked the kids nicely. The set list basically consisted of the same songs as the other shows... They played the side stage at like1pm.... cranked out 9 outta 11 songs from the album... it was a dandy crowd....kids, moms, dads, teens....all walks of life enjoying the tunes. after their set they went off to the autograph tent and signed for the mob... they ran outta posters actually. all the girlies kept wooing over James and Dave :) Jo promised to kiss all the boys who got an autograph and James was to kiss all the girls.... they also went off to do the rock star thing and were briefly interviewed on this neato stage set up.... sitting on a big fluffy couch outside on a stage for us lil fans to witness... then after the interview they got mobbed again by the adoring fans. Again I talked to them for a lil bit... and Jo signed a poster to me "Dear weird girl who comes to all our gigs! Love from me" .....i enjoyed that...made me giggle... Dave signed it "I dont think you're weird, lots of love, Dave..." then James wrote "you silly girl, thanks for coming....again, love James".... ain't they just damn ginchy? My friend Steve jokingly said to them "we're not following you, i swear...we were just in the neighborhood." so they laughed and said "yeah sure, if we see you in New Mexico we'll know something's up" .... hmm how much are plane tix ?? hehehe.... anyhow after that, they hugged us goodbye and that was it.... till next time of course... i swear i might as well start following them like a dead head or something, i have nothing else better to do, funk getting a job and being normal....right? ;) so, who wants to finance my insanity? ;) hehe
