I just bought the October issue of Guitarist magazine, to see how the evaluated the 2000 series Fender Telecaster before I bought one, and under a rhythm guitar section they say this -"Britpop was also propelled by the Tele. Louise Wener & Jon Stewart of Sleeper, John Power of Cast, Justine Frishmann and Donna Matthews of Elastica and Andy Miller of Dodgy, all found the sound ideal for their brash, ringing chords."
