The band's next studio album is tentatively set for release in April or May 2001. They have about 30 new songs sketched out, and will be heading into the studio soon to begin recording. The band tentatively plans to work with Brian Eno for a few weeks of pre-production, with the album itself being produced by Stephen Street, who's past work includes The Smiths, Morrissey, Blur, Catatonia, and Sleeper, among others.
