Sleeper review. The Fleece and FirkinSleeper slid into Bristol on Thursday night, playing a 40 minute set which included their recent hits 'Inbetweener' ("This is the one which Dale Winton helped us to write") and 'Delicious'. It was an all singing all dancing pop-kid promotion for their new album 'Smart' and all the faithful loved it!. After an audience member's plea for "Give us more you twats!" and the more usual clap n' chanting Louise led them back out for a well-planned 3 song encore, causing frenzied bouncing by asking "Does anyone like disco?"...cue 'Duncan Disco'.
They were ably supported by a very promising American band Nyack who, despite only playing a short set, were well received as they played their new single 'I'm your star'.
In all it was a great night out... 'Delicious' fun was had by all.
