About this website

     This is an unofficial Sleeper website. I am not affiliated with Indolent, Arista, or BMG. Much of the material used on these pages are original (a rare thing on the internet) and I have spent a lot of time putting it together. Please ask permission or give credit if you plan to use any information or images off of this webpage. Most of the time, I will approve and let you use whatever material you wish to use, so just ask!

     The picture is taken by one of my best friend, Melinda. It is in the backroom of the Whiskey A-Go-Go. It was Sleeper's first show in Los Angeles (the fourth or so in America). They've already done the major cities (New York, Boston, etc) and the previous night was just in Las Vegas, obviously a major thing for Louise because of their single "Vegas". The next day Sleeper appeared on KROQ radio stating that they were going to head for Madrid, Spain, for their world tour.

     I have started and am working on four other websites: Sleeperx, Stretch Princess, Morrissey, and S*m*a*s*h.

         This is a review of my first Sleeper webpage from Sonicstate:

         "The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is the lovely shade of purple the front page is, mmmm. The Sleeper FAQ is excellent full of details, more of a Sleeper history than an FAQ. The lyrics listing is well presented and very thorough. There's a discography, survey, net links and a good press cutting section with the bonus of having some current news and tour dates (all gone now though). Gig reviews are given along with gig dates back to 21-1-94. Great site, well worth a visit."

         Although this page should work with most browsers, I recommend Netscape Communicator 4.05 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 (or the latest version). Some kind advice: IE4 users go full-screen while Netscape users should collapse the navigational bars.
         Best viewed with 16-bit color and 800x600 resolution.
