This is from the PLANET COMICON 2003 convention. Basically, everyone who was waiting for George for autographs or comission was asking one thing: "When is JLA/Avengers coming out?"

Although, George consistantly replied "Definitely by 2003", at one point he made a note that he's already inked the cover to JLA/AVENGERS #2!

Other questions was about CrossGen and SOLUS, in which George said that it is the only book (besides JLA/A) that he will be doing for the foreseeable future, until they want him off the book.

Collectible dolls, comic books and autograph-signing celebrities beckon at two fan-friendly conventions this weekend: the Kansas City Doll Fair (The Art of the Doll) and the Kansas City Planet Comicon.

The Doll Fair's exhibit hall will be open to the public from 6 to 9 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the new Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Blvd.

Guests include artist George Perez and writer Marv Wolfman, the comic-book team behind Crisis on Infinite Earths and The New Teen Titans; Silver Age Marvel Comics artist Dick Ayers; actors Virginia Hey (Zhann in Sci-Fi's "Farscape"), Linda Harrison (Nova in "Planet of the Apes") and Anne Ramsay ("Star Trek: Next Generation"); and Playboy Playmates Debra Jo Fondren (9/77) and Petra Verkaik (12/89).
