This weekend the CBLDF touches down at Baltimore Comicon, the East Coast's greatest Fall convention. Every year Baltimore Comicon goes all out to support the CBLDF, and this year is no exception with the premiere of Even More Fund Comics. The show also gathers a great guest list and is full of fun and surprises. Be sure to come down to the Baltimore Convention Center this weekend to check out all its cool happenings

And on Saturday, be sure to stop by the CBLDF booth at 4:30 for this year's Baltimore Comicon auction where you can bid on the following items:

    Baltimore Comic-Con's Marc Nathan: Q&A
    Posted: Monday, August 30

    (excerpt)

O’Shea: This is the con's fifth year, is the con as strong as you'd hoped it would be when you started it five years ago?
Nathan: When I started this con, I thought only about doing one and that was it. At our "Dead Dog Party", some of our guest including George Perez started talking about the "next time". As we all know, we have had some set-backs that no one could have prevented or done anything about. So maybe we could have been further along, but I'd say we are still looking like a good thing, growing and moving in the right direction. Not everyone can say that.

    Baltimore Comicon?
    « Thread started on: 08/09/04 at 7:19pm »

Does anyone know if George is still planning to come to the Baltimore Comicon in September? It's still listed on his calendar on the george-perez.com home page, but he isn't listed as a guest on the convention's webpage. He's attended the show every year since it started, and I hope he'll be back this year.
