B.A.B.E. FORCE (2007)

I'm afraid this news item is not true. My exclusive DC contract would not allow it. However, this item may just have confused some facts. I do have a waiver in my DC contract to do a cover for a company called forcewerks (spelling and lower case intentional) Productions, publishers of B.A.B.E. FORCE, a commitment I made before signing with DC -- similar to the pre-exclusive commitment I had with Dynamite Comics to produce the RED SONJA and DARKMAN VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS covers. The obvious similarities between FORCE WORKS and forcewerks could easily have caused confusion. For the record, I still haven't done that B.A.B.E. FORCE cover due to my workload, but it's still on my to-do list. forcewerk publisher Kirk Kushin has been extremely patient.
