Art by George Perez
MELTZER: For me, this is the true royal wedding in the DCU. No supervillains attacking, no Skrulls, just a wedding.
PEREZ: When I got the assignment, I had assumed I'd be drawing the JLA. I was quite surprised to find that I was recreating the wedding of Donna Troy and Terry Long. Since my wife Carol designed the dresses for the bridal party, it was nice to draw them again.
MELTZER: Working with George brought tears to my eyes. His Justice League of America, Avengers and New Teen Titans are the reason I'm a comic reader.
PEREZ: Inking myself allowed me to get a little more detail into everything.
