THE PULSE: What were some of the things that crossed your mind when you thought about working on a project like this? How is it different in this day and age from 20 years ago when you were originally trying to keep secrets from the first Crisis from hitting the masses before they were explored on the page?
WOLFMAN: Well, I was editor of the original and therefore I had all the headaches, etc. to produce it. Also, 20 years ago nobody had ever done anything like this so getting folk to understand what we were doing was hard. Nowadays they know exactly what doing a massive crossover is like. A for keeping secrets, well, back then there was no internet so it was easy, long as we didn't talk to the fanzines, and since the story was kept under wraps for a long time that was easy, too. Lastly, I'm pretty good about not saying anything. These days it's got to be harder because so many people work on a project like this. Back then it was me, George Perez and Bob Greenberger, the associate editor on the project. Nobody else was involved.
