Ok, this is totally awesome! Don't take my word for it, just buy the darn thing and see for yourself. A gorgeous presentation on this deluxe slipcase edition of the JLA/AVENGERS 4-parter. Really thats just the tip of the iceberg, as there is so much more here.

Inluded is the 2 oversized hardcover books, in the 1st book you have the actual 4 part story in its entirety, along with forwards by DC & Marvels greatest legends- Stan Lee and Julius Schwartz (recently deceased) and the 2nd book or the compendium has all the DC/Marvel stuff leading up to this monumental event, such as unofficial or unauthorized meetings of the 2 universes and for the 1st time anywhere, the actual George Perez penciled pages to the doomed/failed 1st attempt at a team-up from 1983.
The 2 books are numbered on the outside dust jacket and 1st book is signed by 2 parts of the creative team Kurt Busiek & Tom Smith on the inner cover page, then the compendium is signed and also has a really cool Batman sketch by George Perez"- very rare to get!
