Like other hardcore Pérez fans, I did pick up this book. Although the art is nice (think pencil drawings of semi-naked faeries), the main reason I picked this up was because of Pérez's introduction to the book. It is a little disappointing how short the message was (see entire introduction below) but do encourage you to buy the book if you are interested in fantasy art. I think it is suggested that you are over eighteen, however.

I had the great pleasure of meeting the lovely Melanie at a comic book convention where I was introduced to her whimsical yet sensuous world of faeries. Her controlled and evocative use of pastel colors and the details with which she enlivens her fantasy females were truly a marvel to behold and I am both elated and proud that she is getting her art showcased for a larger audience. Whether you like your faeries sweet, or you like them saucy, Melanie's winsome wing-women definitely aim to please. Congratulations, Melanie!
