DC SPECIAL: RETURN OF DONNA TROIA (Jun 2005)
Donna Troy Returns to the DCU

One of DC Comics' most beloved young heroes - killed during the tragic events of Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day - will re-emerge in response to popular demand in the DC Special: The Return of Donna Troy #1 (APR050333, $2.99), the first issue of a four-issue mini-series. A favorite character among generations of readers since her creation, Donna's death at the hands of a rampaging Superman robot left her fellow heroes, and her huge fan base, in mourning. Those fans should respond enthusiastically to this project, which will be written by Phil Jimenez and illustrated by the formidable team of Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez and George Pérez. Picking up after Graduation Day, the mini-series will begin with Donna among the Titans of Myth as Troia, the Goddess of the Moon who must lead those Titans into the last battle of a long campaign of interplanetary conquest. But the warrior begins to doubt her army's chances as memories of a different life haunt her. The only ones who can solve this cosmic mystery, and restore Troia's true identity: the Outsiders and the Teen Titans. Bearing a spectacular cover by Jimenez and Pérez, the book is slated to ship on June 1.
