One big announcement from DC Comics and three dynamic covers inspired by its comics and film characters will greet fans when Wizard Entertainment ushers in 2005 with Wizard: The Comics Magazine #160.
Wizard will ring in the New Year with a report on a special, exclusive announcement from DC Comics that will be loaded with information and analysis. What's more, Wizard will also welcome back Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps with a special feature on DC's plans for the returning hero under writer Geoff Johns and artist Ethan Van Sciver, plus an exclusive Green Lantern Cover (NOV042252, $4.99) by Van Sciver.
DC characters will also be well-represented on Wizard #160's other two covers. One will be a world premiere Batman Begins Photo Cover (NOV042251, $4.99), heralding exclusive news and new photos from the set of the eagerly awaited action-adventure film. The other will glimpse the film adaptation of the DC/Vertigo hit Hellblazer with a limited Constantine Photo Cover (NOV042253, $4.99) showcasing the film's star, Keanu Reeves.
The issue will also contain a Mega-Preview of 2005 comics from DC, Dark Horse, Image and Marvel; a look ahead to such eagerly awaited films as The Fantastic Four; an interview with top creators at Marvel Comics about their plans for 2005, including the introduction of the company's newest superstar artists in the Young Guns titles; a feature on Mark Waid & Marc Silvestri's upcoming Hunter-Killer series; and more.
Wizard #160 is slated to ship on December 22.
