First things first, I'd wanna congratulate George, Kirk, Tom and co. for their hard work and dedication on the very successful JLA/Avengers mini-series! The 4th and last issue may have been delayed, but it's all worth the wait!

My first impression on the cover was...? Well.... But Man, was it enjoyably AWESOME on the inside! So okay, despite being a Marvel fan, Superman looked good with both Cap's shield and Thor's hammer.

The use of that Chronal instability was a terrific gimmick. An intelligent move on the part of Kurt. It gave George the chance to do what he'd long wanted and to do what only he can do- DRAW WHOEVER AND OR EVERBODY HE WANTED! Eventually making a very spectacular panel to panel battle to the finish! The surprising appearances of various supervillains who've ever fought both JLA and Avengers was great! I really had fun doing the naming game. then guessing what their powers were and who they're pitted against! Damn!

I love the idea of Captain America chosen to be their leader! Thanks for bringing Hal Jordan Green Lantern and Barry Allen Flash BACK! Cap's heart to heart talk with Supes which cleared out any misunderstandings between them. As always, Batman proved he's a non-team player even with Cap in command- Cool!

My only question is; after all the events in DC versus Marvel and other such cross-overs; WHY haven't the JLA and Avengers recognize each other yet? Most especially in the case of Bats and Cap, Supes and Hulk, Bats and Punisher...? Didn't Hawkeye seem to recognize the JLA back in issue#1? Not that he mistook them to be the Squadron Supreme. Everybody knew it was deeper than that. I thought that question would have been resolved after beating Krona.

Yet over all, I'd still say this is the BEST Marvel/DC cross-over EVER! Everything in it was INCREDIBLE! George's eye-popping Art, Kurt's well planned story, Tom's beautiful colors and the characters appearing, all of it....just simply WOW! With that... I'd wanna THANK YOU so very much for this entertainment! I don't think any other cross-overs CAN or will surpass it. Unless... if there's gonna a sequel! And that it'd be done again by George....

So here's a little something I wanna share with you. A take on Batman caught in a situation like this. We all know he has a weakess for such women like Catwoman. Now what can he do against three of Avengers' feline members: Tigra, Hellcat and Silver Claw? Hope you like it!

Yep! I love JLA/Avengers #4! It was very nice seeing both JLA and Avengers as friends for a change. With Cap as the one and only honorable leader! And taking Hal Jordan and Barry Allen along for the ride .

It was kinda wierd hearing them talk about events after their deaths, but it was a treat seeing them playing heroes again! Man, I miss those two guys. At first, I thought the CHRONAL chaos was a disappointment when Wanda and Aquaman were replaced by Pietro and Green Arrow respectively. But then I realized it was a great gimmick so to allow George the opportunity to draw characters he wanted to appear. The panels that followed suit were EYE-POPPERS! Everything was but enjoyable! As a Marvel fan, I was suspicious of the cover However. Later on I realized that Superman looked good with both shield and hammer. Because there was an honorable reason for it...both Cap and Thor LENT them to him with their blessing. Good thing it wasn't the way I feared before: like all heroes got knocked out or killed, leaving Supes the only hero standing and that he decides to pick up Cap's and Thor's weapons. Glad it didn't.

The sad part of all this, unfortunately, is that it's over. I only wish it was longer like say Crisis on Infinite Earths.Or that DC and Marvel decides to make a sequel!

If only this series was twice the size, no other cross-overs can ever beat it! I guess that would be the main comment of fans and that we'd clamor for a butt-kicking sequel! I thought the ending was a bit rushed. It would have been nice to see both teams patch things up and say their goodbyes! Altough it would be unlikely that George Perez will be in it this time. Think of this a bit... THAT will be a very risky move! I dunno, there maybe a lot of artist out there who could do crowd shots ( my favorites: Alex Ross and Jim Lee ), but George is still the man best suited for the job! The love and dedication he pours into it is just amazingly AWESOME and obviously unsurpassed! You can really tell he's not just doing it for the money! But If DC will make the same mistake of choosing Dan Jurgens ...! They might as well forget it! Don't ask what I think of his Zero Hour and DC vs Marvel....

Overall, nobody can argue that Kurt, George, Tom and the rest now hold the record for producing the MOTHER of All DC/Marvel cross-over in history!

Here's another portfolio I'd wanna share with you. It features the 5 original Avengers (Hulk,Thor,IronMan,Antman and Wasp) against the 5-6? original JL of A(Hal Jordan,Barry Allen,Martian Man-Hunter,Aquaman and WonderWoman/Black Canary). I know...There's another DC History confusion here with both women of who's first. I knew Wondy was really the original of the 5 members, but anyway, I thought it'd be more fun to feature both! Enjoy! Hope you like it!
