Everyone:

Since this confusion doesn't seem to get any clearer I just want to clarify the issue of my commissioned pieces and the Artist's Choice website. Spencer Beck's removal of my page was done strictly to halt any more people from ordering sketches or getting on a waiting list.

Despite his efforts to explain this it seems that most people are still a bit curious, especially those who have already ordered pieces.

All orders that have already been placed will be done, but only when I get my regular work, specifically the JLA/AVENGERS, finally on schedule and completed. Once I'm only doing the monthly SOLUS series I will be able to get back to doing commission pieces, with a heavy priority to those who, for various reasons, decided to pay in advance. (Most orders are paid once the sketch is completed.)

What this basically means is that those on the waiting list will just have to wait a good deal longer. According to Spencer, the waiting list is close to 100 people long and it's likely that, once JLA/AVENGERS is out of the way, it may be several months before I can take any more orders and Spencer can put the page back up. Until then, the page has to stay down so new people don't get misled.

I must say that it's gratifying to be so sought after, but I believe everyone will agree that it's more important to get this long-awaited crossover out first. That's one of the reasons I didn't want advance payment for the commissions. This way the worst thing that happens is that the fan gets to celebrate a birthday or two before getting his or her sketch.

Hope this clears things up.
