I want to first want to thank Vu for the nice review of GPN #3, I'm very proud of the the issue, the issue wouldn't have been nearly as good without the major help from Marcus Mebes and all the great contributors. After all this magazine if for PEREZ FANS, BY PEREZ FANS. With each issue new people join the ranks of contributors in which I'm very grateful for, having more than one oppinion/idea really makes this a more interesting magazine. Heck one of my favorite things about this magazines is the artwork and thoughts that George's fan share with me through this magazine. So I hope as people continue to read my magazine dedicated to George I hope my magazine motivates them to get involved in future issues.

First up is a CONTEST, it was actually brought up after I published issue two and several people have brought it up again after issue three came out. Do we need a new title for the GEORGE PEREZ NEWSLETTER? Some people have told me the title is kind of confusing because it is not a newsletter but a magazine. If you think we should change the name, what should we call the magazine? I need all of your help, please send in your suggestion on a new title and the winner will receive a lifetime subscription to the GEORGE PEREZ NEWSLETTER (or what ever the new title maybe), now it I get multiple people suggest the new title, the first person that sends me the suggestion will be the winner. Good luck and I hope that everyone gets involved in the contest, like my magazine its only good as the contributions.

It is time once again, I need contributions for issue #4, slated for a December release meaning the issue needs to be ready sometime in the middle of November. The theme of the issue is George's independent work of the early 1990s and I need contribution the sooner the better. I've already have a few things for the issue, but I need a lot more. This is slated to be a 64 page issue but could be bigger if I get more contributors, I kinda like that 100 page format (most likely issue 5 and 6 will be in the 100 + format, Crossgen/Avengers-JLA issue and all Teen Titan's issue). I need the following items for next issue:

ARTICLES (here's a few ideas, George's run at Malibu Comics, Techno, Heroes Graphics, his Gaming art, his illustrations work for novels, ...and that's just a few ideas to get the ball rolling) I will also need an article from a fan of George from another country other than someone from the United States for the feature "PEREZ FANS AROUND THE WORLD," the article does not have to be related to the main theme of the issue, I just want to showcase the many fans of George from around the world.

ARTWORK (I need good quality photocopies of George's artwork, comic pages, conventions sketches, commission art, thumbnails, ... I especially need copies of various independent related artwork for issue four, but I need anything you may have for future issue, please put name and address on the back of each copy.)

LETTERS OF COMMENT OF ISSUE (I need your feedback on issue three, good and bad, it's the only way I can improve my magazine)

TRIVIA (I need any and all trivia that you may have on George, but I especially need independent related trivia for issue #4)

FAN ART (keep sending me your fan art, although future issue will be 3 to 4 pages in length)

QUESTION OF THE ISSUE (What is your favorite single issue drawn by George and Why?)

NEWS (any news or info that I can keep all the wacky Perez fans up to date on)

Pictures (any Perez related pictures for the Photo gallery section)

One last thing any good idea for a new feature, please let me know, the more ideas the better.

I really enjoy all the e-mails I've been getting from everyone and all the support and kind words people have sent me, thank you. This magazine is truly a labor of love, that all start way back in 1982. I look forward to your feedback on issue three and I look forward to your response on the Contest question , "should we change the name of the magazine, if so to what?" People that are planning on contributing drop me a line, I really would like the material sooner the better, if you have any questions drop me a line.

Well, I think I've babbled enough. Like I said before, if you have any question (contributing, ordering back issue, ...) please don't hesitate to drop me a line at TLorenz101@aol.com
