I just realized it's been quite some time since I updated everyone on the Diabetes campaign! We have fallen short of the $5000 goal, but did manage to donate over $1500 to EACH charity: The American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Association of Canada. The grand total in donations was $3150.
