DC HEROES BECOME JUSTICE LEAGUES OF THEIR OWN
Consumer News - Week of 12/18/00
What will happen to the DC Universe when its greatest super-team doesn’t even know it exists? It will find out when the vanguard of a mysterious invasion removes the legendary team’s very existence from all memory, and ignites a six-part event from DC Comics that begins with Justice Leagues #1 (NOV000489, $2.50).

The force behind this bizarre amnesia is the Advance Man, a slick agent of the powerful being Plura, sent to break through Earth’s greatest line of defense – the JLA – in preparation for Plura’s conquest of the planet. Independently, the heroes continue to fight for good, but each can’t escape the thought that something is missing from the world, and each responds by forming his or her own team.

Throughout January, the event will chronicle each team’s adventures under a different member of the JLA in five Justice Leagues issues: Justice League of Amazons #1 (NOV000490, $2.50); Justice League of Atlantis #1 (NOV000491, $2.50); Justice League of Arkham #1 (NOV000492, $2.50); Justice League of Aliens #1 (NOV000493, $2.50); and finally, Justice League of America #1 (NOV000494, $2.50).

Please Note: The regular issue of JLA will not be published during this event.
