SECTION ZERO: IF IT DOESN’T EXIST, WHY IS IT SO HOT?
Consumer News Week of 11/20/00

They don’t exist, according to all known global authorities – but if they did, the team of paranormal investigators created by Karl Kesel, Tom Grummett, & Ben Dimagmaliw would be nearing the end of its first riveting story arc in two upcoming issues of Image Comics’ Section Zero.

Since scientific genius Doc Challenger, soldier-of-fortune Sam Wildman, and the rest of Section Zero’s high-octane heroes and villains arrived earlier this year, the series has been a consistently entertaining read. Its loyal following includes readers whose tastes run from the pulp tales of Doc Savage to the supernatural mysteries and conspiracies of The X-Files.

While issue #5 (OCT001310D2, $2.95) and #6 (DEC001226D2, $2.95) will conclude the team’s latest mission, the series is written so as to be accessible to any new reader who picks it up for the first time.

As if this wasn’t already exciting enough, each issue will contain a preview of a new, creator-owned Gorilla title (Mark Waid’s John Doe in issue #5, Kurt Busiek & George Pérez’s Westwind in #6).
