Subject: Thanks Everyone
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been so actively participating in these boards. I am very flattered by all the attention my book (and its stars) has gotten. I will be leaving for a long-overdue vacation on Sunday, Aug. 6th and will be gone for two weeks, thus missing the arrival of CP #2 on Aug 16th.
(Side note: Were it not for of a problem with a page's color files the book actually would have shipped a week EARLY. It seems that Quebecor was working on the erroneous belief that CP#2 was scheduled for an Aug. 9th release and had been giving me deadlines based on that, unbeknownst to me. The original schedule I received half a year ago had CP#2 leaving the printers Aug. 11th, so I don't know when and where the dates got mixed up. However, had it shipped a week early, it certainly would have been newsworthy. Especially an Image comic.)
When I return I will be anxious to read your comments on the latest issue, which I hope stirs you to continue supporting it.
Thanks again.

Subject: CP#2 release date
Hi all:
I just want to clarify that the scheduled release date is not August 9th, but August 16th. That is as it's always been and the 9th is based on erroneous info. According to my original schedule CP #2 was scheduled to leave the printers on Aug. 11th thus putting it in the stores the following Wednesday, Aug. 16th. I just wanted to assure everyone that the book is indeed coming out as scheduled. I may have confused the 11th as the on sale date which is how the news got confused since that would be a Friday and it was probably assumed that the earlier, not later, Wednesday on sale date was correct. Of course, if the book actually does come out on the 9th-- Hey, I'll be a whole week EARLY. My heart wouldn't be able to stand the shock.
