HISTORY:
Pre-Crisis: On Earth-3, a parallel world vibrating on a slightly different plane than the world we know, history had chosen a strange, opposing path. There, it was the American Christopher Columbus who discovered Europe; colonial England that won her freedom from the United States during the Revolutionary War; and actor Abraham Lincoln who shot President John Wilkes Booth. On this strange world of contrary reality, the only super-powered beings are not heroes, but rather five super-villains who had banded together as the Crime Syndicate of America. The Crime Syndicate perished during the Crisis.
Post-Crisis: The CSA's Earth-2, evil always triumph. Ultraman has a love-hate relationship with Owlman, who is seeing his girlfriend Superwoman (Lois Lane) behind his back, although Ultraman knows about this.
POWERS & WEAPONS:
Pre-Crisis: Ultraman is the strongest of Earth-3, and gain his super powers every time he's exposed to Kryptonite.
Post-Crisis: Ultraman seems to have the powers of his alternate self, Superman.
