This book is a kind of mini TPB featuring rare X-Men stories.
"Winter Carnival" is reprinted in colour for the first time from Bizarre Adventures 27. It's an Iceman solo story written by Jo Duffy with art by George Perez and Alfredo Alcala.
"First Night" is the Chris Claremont/John Bolton backup story from Classic X-Men 1 and tells the story of the new X-Men's first night at the X-Mansion.
"Deal With The Devil" is a Mystique story reprinted from Marvel Fanfare 40 and written by Chris Claremont with art by Craig Hamilton and Rick Bryant.
"Man In The Sky" is the first Marvel Universe mention of Mutants from Amazing Adult Fantasy 14 (yep, the issue before Spider-Man was introduced), it's produced by the 60's supreme team of Lee/Ditko.
"Open Volley" is the first ever Generation-X story which appeared in a book especially for the San Diego Comicon in 1994. It's written by Scott Lobdell with art by Chris Bachalo and Mark Buckingham.
The book is signed on the cover by Mark Buckingham and the signature is authenticated by a certificate from H-Files.
