This isn't a real review, since I haven't actually read anything but the introduction to this book.
This collects Clifford Meth's first five books: THIS BASTARD PLANET, THE WHITE MAN DANCING, CRAWLING FROM THE WRECKAGE, CONFLICTS OF DISINTEREST, and PERVERTS, PEDOPHILES & OTHER THEOLOGIANS... but it's not all reprints. There are a few new introductions and artwork (I think), including a new cover by Michael Kaluta.
The book also is benefiting Harlan Ellison's KICK Internet Piracy Fund, which, if you have been keeping up with the news, was settled in early June 2004.
The price is a little expensive ($85), but it is only limited to 52 copies, with each book with a hand sketch by Kaluta.

The other project Meth is involved in right now is "god's 15 minutes," a 252 page book of illustrated fiction featuring introductions by Harlan Ellison, Al Feldstein, Steve Gerber, Roy Thomas, and the late Robert Bloch with art by Gene Colan, Marie Severin, Joe Kubert, Mike Ploog, George Perez, Dave Cockrum, Joe Sinnott, Herb Trimpe, and others. The book ships this April from Aardwolf Publishing, who is also direct-selling 220 signed/numbered copies (signed by cover artist Michael Kaluta, Ellison, and Meth). Retailers can also order the regular book from Diamond, which comes with a signed bookplate (signed only by Meth).

"The artists drew whatever they wanted, but they were assigned stories - this is a book of illustrated fiction. The artists - Gene Colan, Dave Cockrum, Marie Severin, Joe Sinnott, Herb Trimpe, Gray Morrow, George Perez - illustrated actual stories. And then some of my writer friends (and even some of the artists) were asked to write intros. Also I was at the comic store and the owner who knows I am a big Perez fan informed me that George is mentioned in a Comic book by AARDWOLF called God's Fifteen Minutes. It has some Perez artwork probabbly a Pin-up.
