GIANT-SIZE COMIC BOOK SHOW #12 (Oct 2005)
Episode debuts October 22, 2005

(excerpt)

MegaCon in Orlando has become one of the country's fastest growing comic book conventions. No longer affiliated with the now defunct Cross-Gen Comics company, MegaCon attracts a wide range of comic book pros and fans, as well as plenty of media stars, anime devotees, and more.

OK, I'll admit it... February winters are a pretty good reason to get away to Florida, and while the weather of Orlando was a little rainy and cool, the chance to meet some of my favorite creators for the first time and catch up with some "I knew when" was equally compelling. I knew I'd enjoy chatting with George Perez who I know I would love to have a whole show on. I got to see the work of some up-and-comers, including those getting their feet wet online, and while their shots aren't included on this page, they do get a chance to show their stuff off in this episode.
