In 'Listen 2 This'
Entertainment Weekly has begun its subscription-only "Listen 2 This" supplement this week, which features two pages of comic reviews ("Discoveries: Comics"). JLA/Avengers (DC/Marvel), Madman King-Size Super Groovy Special (Oni/AAA Pop), and 1602 (Marvel) received As; and The Losers (DC) and Blankets (Top Shelf) were graded A-. A sidebar by Warren Ellis touted From Hell as his "all time favorite graphic novel." Frank Miller's Robocop, from Avatar, was graded a D. Three upcoming titles were flagged: Dark Horse's The Chronicles of Conan, Image's Frankenstein Mobster, and DC's Hellblazer: Rake at the Gates of Hell.

Well, since I was penalized 15 yards for unintentional taunting earlier, here's the scan of that article to make up for it.
This is certainly a copyright violation, so in the hopes that EW won't sue me, I'll again plug the issue (Entertainment Weekly- its this week's issue, which has Clay Aiken on the cover), and mention that this article is one-third of a two page section on comic books, so go buy it. I'll even tell you to go out and check out their website (google them and it'll pop right up), but this article is not up there, sorry. Nobody please sue me now. I love EW. I even subscribe.
Hmm. This should be self-evident, but there are spoilers in that article. You are now warned.

Sorry for the confusion of where to find the article. It is in subscriber copies that have the "Listen 2 This" Supplement in the middle of the magazine.
"Listen 2 This" is published about once a month in subscription copies if you sign up for it.
On the editors page they list how to get it:
log onto ew.com/register2listen.
But what I posted is all that they said about spoilers. The rest talked about feeling like you are back in JR. High again, in a good way.
The "Listen 2 This" section will now include comic book reviews. Which is odd since they used to include it every once in a while in the regular part.
They also reviewed The Losers, 1602, Madman Kingsize Super Groovey Special, Blankets, and the TPB From Hell.

In the newest issue of Entertainment Weekly that I just got in the mail today,(it has Clay Aiken on the cover) they review JLA/ Avengers.
Here's some tid bits they drop
-The Flash is stunned to stumble unto a mutant lynching
-While over in DC land the Avengers are asked for their autographs
-the four issue's saga motivating element- a contentious race to secure a dozen cosmically powerful objects and thereby stave off doomsday
-They also describe this
"Thor's hammer knocks the bloody spit out of Superman in one climactic full page illustration.
They show a nice drawing of the Avengers coming out of a tube but no JLA are visible.
They describe Perez's work "his fantastically detailed old school work has only grown finer over time"
They gave the series an A-
