Again, being super-busy I haven't had the time to properly read this issue yet. I've only flipped through the magazine to look at random artwork. Lots of Wonder Woman/Linda Carter artwork, so if you are a fan of the CBS show, you'll love this issue.
The back cover is a flip-cover, and it features Adam Hughes' art. Both cover art (Alex Ross & Hughes) also appears inside the magazine, as part of a 8-page colored artwork section.
All of the colored artwork are amazing, it is a nice change of pace from the usual black and white pages.
The most interesting thing I found out today was that page 14 of CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS #12 was actually pencilled by Jerry Ordway and inked by George Pérez. You can see the original Ordway pencilled page in the magazine.
Here is the Pérez artwork:
WONDER WOMAN
(2002), art by George Perez, published in BACK ISSUE #5

There are a few other Perez-related items in the magazine, including an article about the 80's Teen Titans television show that never was.

|
Wonder Woman - The Complete 1st Season arrives on June 29th, on 3 DVDs - at least two of them double-sided - that contain the 90-minute pilot episode from 1975, plus the 13 weekly episodes that make up the exciting first season that ran in 1976-77.
(excerpt)
Included also is a featurette entitled "Beauty, Brawns and Bulletproof Bracelets: A Wonder Woman Retrospective". Also look for the commentary track we previously reported on: you'll find Lynda Carter doing one for the pilot, and sitting in with her is none other than Executive Producer Douglas S. Cramer.
Clocking in at 725 minutes, this will be viewable in the same video and audio it was originally broadcast in: 1.33:1 screen format and English Mono 1.0 sound. Subtitles are available in Spanish, French, and English, with closed captioning for the hearing impaired. List price is $39.98.

From Andy Mangels
BACK ISSUE #5 will have a massive interview with Lynda Carter about Wonder Woman and her career. There will also be interview snippets with many of her co-stars, as well as others involved with WW in cartoon, television, and film form!
There will be "flip covers" by Alex Ross (the one in the solicitations) and Adam Hughes. BTW, the solicitation cover is NOT final, and will be substantially less "busy" in final form.
There will be an all-star full-page pin-up section by artists drawing Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman. Those artists are: George Perez, Phil Jimenez, Dick Giordano, Paul Guinan, Thomas Derenick, Anne Timmons, and Drew Johnson & Ray Snyder. There may be others added. There will also be sketch work and other art by Adam Hughes, Alex Ross, and Phil Jimenez!
