DOMINIQUE (2003), art by George Pérez. Published in B.A.B.E. FORCE: BACK TO SCHOOL #1 (Feb 2004)

B.A.B.E. Force: Back to School #1 hits comic stores on Feb. 18 (according to Diamond), and the Perez pin-up is up at babeforce.net.

Also, we should have known George would contribute months ago; here's a part of the original solicitation copy from Previews:

"This issue also includes a special pin-up by a superstar artist of one of the year's most anticipated and best-selling comics. Missing it will be a total in-justice and something you will surely want to avenge...!"

    From Vu

Just to let you know, this issue is now available. I got a copy in the mail and I just finished reading it. I really miss the letter pages on the major comic publishers, so it was really nice to see that B.A.B.E. Force still publishes them.

What's funny is the thank you to George Perez:

    >>>
A special "shout out" goes to this issue's pin-up artist, George Pérez. He's a new comer to the field and not a lot of people have picked up on his work - but you should give it a try. He's a B.A.B.E. FORCE fan and a cool guy! Best of luck to you Mr Perez!

You can order a copy for yourself for $3 (which includes postage), see www.babeforce.net for more details, or click on the info page for the address.

    Can T&A Save The World?
    Tuesday, February 10, 2004

Doesn't matter since according to Kirk Kushin "BABE Force" is much more.

    Kicking @$$ And Looking Good

Kirk Kushin talks with Matthew Phillon

Matthew Phillon (CWN): Why the Revamp? What led to the change in format?
Kirk Kushin (KK): When the license for B.A.B.E. FORCE reverted back to us, we looked long and hard to see if we could improve the book. We discovered a real opportunity to use the medium to tell the types of stories that we were involved in filming – but on the printed page. So we set out, after many hard lessons, to create a comic that would be as entertaining and exciting as the live action version.

CWN: What should BF fans expect to see different this time out?
KK: We are doing the actual creative – where with the past series, we were only providing springboards and doing approvals. B.A.B.E. FORCE: Back To School is much more character motivated. Now that I’m doing the writing, I’m able to deliver more of what makes B.A.B.E. FORCE fun – the unique characters. And that’s what brings people back issue after issue.

     February 1, 2004 | B.A.B.E. Force Update
    From B.A.B.E. Force

We met George last year and it turned out he was familiar with B.A.B.E. FORCE and had visited our website several times - www.babeforce.net. So naturally we tapped him for a pin-up which will be appearing in B.A.B.E. FORCE: Back To School #1.

The 24 page, black and white comic will be arriving in stores mid-Feb. For guaranteed availability - please consult your retailer. Both Issue #1 and Issue #2 (being released in April) are available for order through Diamond Distributors - under Forcewerks Productions.

Kirk Kushin is the writer of the series and Miguel Genlot is the artist.

Fans of George Perez will appreciate the lively storytelling and of course, the beautiful women.

Please contact us if you require any further information and please check out the comics section of www.babeforce.net for more info.

(Vu: Please note that the prices for the comic book is $2.50, and not $2.95 as previously mentioned.)
