Found Found Found
(Morrissey/Langer)
found found found
found found found
someone who's worth it
in this murkiness
someone who's never
seeming scheming
found found found
found found found
someone who's worth it
in this murkiness
someone who's never
seeming scheming
oh, but if I'd never found
oh, but if I'd never found
oh, but if I'd never found
I do believe that
The more you give your love
And I do believe that
The more you give your trust
The more you chase
The more you cry
The more you're bound to lose
The more you're bound to lose
oh, but if I'd never found
oh, but if I'd never found
somebody
who wants to be
who wants to be
with me
all the time

From Johnny Rogan's THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE MUSIC OF THE SMITHS & MORRISSEY/MARR:
"According to Langer this tune was "knocked out in about five minutes." Although an obvious attempt to add some weight to the proceedings it at least distracted attention from the lighter material on the album. Mark Nevin plays a Hofner Violin bass, just like Paul McCartney, while Langer provides the heavy guitar work. The lyrics are platitudinous and sound as rushed as the music. Interestingly, it's been stated in numerous magazines that the subject in the song is R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, although the conjecture lacks foundation. During an interview with Select, Morrissey discussed this song and then in the very next question as asked about his recent friendship with Stipe. Neither he nor the journalist made any connection between the song and Stipe but the placing of the quotes encourages others in search of good copy to connect the two."
