From Boz Boorer
Sunday, 25 August

hi
so the gig in Portland was a lot of fun, maybe the best yet! My only sore point was the horrible looking bloke who strolled across the stage in "November" as if he owned the place ......... come to think of it he probably did.

Then straight on the bus for the 13 hour drive to Salt Lake City, quite uneventful, stopped at a truck stop and bought some "Tut" pronounced like "foot", that is any thing in a truck stop that looks great til you get on the bus and wonder why you bought it - ie a new case for my computer, a new bag, etc ... got a phone card and spoke to all 3 Boorer girls which was nice, then couldn't sleep on the bus and watched some mind numbing Indiana jones film and that still didn't work. Especially all the kids being reunited with their parents at the end reminded me I've still got a while til I see mine...

Strolled down to the Zephyr Club just now. That's a small place, it's gonna be a wild one. Did my laundry, now it's out to find a bar but the weird thing here is, to get round the licensing/ smoking law they're all "members only" bars. But we got the concierge here at the hotel on the case and I think he's found us a particularly sawdusty place just down the road, so off we go....!

Any suggestions for any more top 5s?

Hi
just got here to the gig in Eugene. Things were a bit messed up so we had to go back to the hotel in Seattle, then leave today on the tour bus. Someone ran into it outside the hotel and ripped off the exhaust so that took ages... then the freeway was closed so we went for ages at a snail's pace. But we're here now, venue looks great, town's very quiet, looking forward to it cheers bb

P.S. (added later):

Just got to portland - quite easy it's 1: 30 am.
Long soundcheck tomorrow! Then 13 hour drive to Salt Lake City.

Oh the glamour!
