From Rewireviews
Sure, I guess I wish I had famous friends like Pearl Jam or Radiohead. But I don’t know if I’d let them come to my concert and take over the proceedings. Even the American debut of Johnny Marr’s vocals on ‘Down on the Corner’ is slightly disappointing. They’re good, not great (or maybe it’s just the boring Springsteen quality of the song itself), and perhaps not as British or boyish as we might like. But his accompaniment on The Smiths’ ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’ is faithful to the end, which is always a bit of a surprise given his usual reticence at discussing the past. “Is anyone depressed?” he asks before the song, but the only thing depressing
